Itinerary

Day 01: Colombo Airport Pick up - Transfer To Kandy Enroute Pinnawala

​On arrival transfer from Colombo Airport and proceed to Kandy. En route visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela. This orphanage is the home for about 60 elephants, out of which many are baby elephants found, abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are being cared, fed and trained by the wild life authorities. The best time to visit is during the feeding times, when one will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottle-fed. Also could accompany the elephants to a river close-by and see the elephants having their daily bath. Check in at hotel and in the evening visit the temple of the tooth relic and thereafter witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing. Dinner and overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 02: Kandy City tour 

​After breakfast get ready for Kandy city tour. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806. Visit the arts and crafts center and a gem museum and a lapidary. In the evening visit the Peradeniya botanical garden. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Later Come Back to the Hotel Rest and Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 03: Transfer From Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast Leave for Nuwara Eliya - The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Visit Tea Factroy, Tea Garden, Hakgala botanical garden. After Reaching Check in to the Hotel Rest and Relax. After that Get ready For City Tour Start the sightseeing with a visit to the Victoria Park. The Nanu Oya River passes through the park, thus creating various tiny scenic lakes that greatly enhance the park’s natural beauty. Next head to Lake Gregory and spend quality time by the water indulging in fishing and boating activities.
Other places worth stopping by are the St. Claire’s waterfall, one of the widest waterfalls in the country, is a popular tourist attraction known for its natural beauty and pleasant surroundings, and the Hakgala Botanical Garden that is known to be home to over 10,000 species of rare orchids and roses.
End the long and tiring day with a scrumptious dinner at a local restaurant and proceed to the hotel. Spend the night in the comfort of your room in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04: Nuwara Eliya to Bentota

Wake a stunning morning in Nuwara Eliya and spoil yourself with a savory breakfast at your hotel before you continue to the land of turquoise waters and golden beaches – Bentota. Check into the Hotel, day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Bentota

Breakfast at Hotel. Bentota lies at the finishing end of the "Golden Mile which is an hour's drive from Colombo. Famous for it's prime beaches Bentota is today one of Sri Lanka's most sought after tourist destinations. The town of Bentota actually, sits on an estuary, where the river and the sea meet. This makes the area quite famous for water sports like windsurfing, scuba diving & snorkelling. If you wish you can Enjoy the Water Sports Activity (At your Own Cost) Day is Free For Leisure by the Beach.Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 06: Bentota - Colombo

Today check out from Bentota hotel and proceed to Colombo. Upon arrival in the city, enjoy a city tour. Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. As an example there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the old parliament in fort, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike memorial international conference hall – BMICH, an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the people’s republic of china. Visit Fort, Sea Street, Kayman’s Gate etc. Colombo is also famous for shopping. Modern shopping malls and specialty stores carry high quality goods at very affordable prices. You can shop for Ceylon tea, jewelry (including the Sri Lankan blue saphire) etc. Overnight in Colombo.

Day 07: Colombo Airport Drop

After breakfast say good bye to Sri Lanka, According to the flight schedule proceed to Airport to board a flight from Colombo.
